About the Role
As an Aviation Refueller with Urquhart Aviation Fuel, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient refuelling of a variety of aircraft while ensuring compliance with aviation safety procedures and company policies. You will work closely with pilots, airline staff and airport personnel to provide a professional and dependable service.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely refuel aircraft in accordance with aviation procedures
- Conduct pre-start and daily equipment inspections
- Maintain accurate fuel records and documentation
- Deliver excellent customer service to pilots and operators
- Follow all workplace health, safety and environmental requirements
- Assist with general depot and equipment housekeeping
About You
- A strong commitment to safety and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good physical fitness and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including weekends, public holidays and on-call shifts if required
Essential Requirements
- Current unrestricted driver’s licence
- Ability to pass pre-employment and ongoing drug and alcohol testing
- Ability to obtain and maintain a satisfactory police clearance
- Ability to complete all required aviation and workplace training
Desirable
- Current HR (Heavy Rigid) driver’s licence (preferred but not essential)
- Previous experience in aviation, fuel handling, transport, logistics or a safety-focused industry (training provided for the right candidate)
