About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Ramp Attendant to join our growing team in Karratha, WA. In this permanent full-time role, you will support the safe and efficient management of ramp operations and assist with daily base flight operations, reporting to the Base and Contract Manager.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and loading/unloading of assigned aircraft for daily flight operations
- Assist fuelling operations including rotors-running refuelling, and ensure fuel quality control and sampling
- Provide safe escort, briefing and loading/unloading of passengers
- Acceptance and manifesting of cargo/freight, and confirm proper stowage and security
- Confirm proper loading to meet weight and balance requirements
- Wash, clean and polish aircraft, and maintain ramp FOD control and general housekeeping
- Operate base support equipment including aircraft tug/tractor and forklift, and assist Engineering with movement and towing of aircraft
- Conduct fire watch duties on start and until the helicopter is clear of the heliport
- Perform the cleaning, inspection, certification, tracking and management of all passenger and crew life jackets

- Manual handling of baggage and freight in line with safety procedures
- Strong attention to detail
- Hold valid rights to reside and work in Australia
