About the Role
Join the Perth team as a full-time member of the airside operations team and become the face of dnata catering & retail on the tarmac. In this hands-on role you will act as the key link between dnata and Cabin Crew, working closely to ensure a smooth, accurate handover and that every flight is fully and correctly catered.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate hi-lift trucks to safely and on-time service aircraft catering
- Undertake short-distance driving, basic vehicle checks and refuelling as required
- Load and unload aircraft catering, carts and ovens, and follow up on any discrepancies
- Position and guide trucks in line with airport, airline and company procedures
- Communicate and coordinate with Cabin Crew for accurate service handover
- Complete administrative documentation, reporting and general cleaning duties as required
Essential Requirements
- Full ongoing working rights in Australia
- Ability to pass pre-employment checks, including a National Police Check and medical assessment
- MR or HR driver's licence
- Availability to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays
- Good verbal and written communication skills, and sound numeracy skills
