The Opportunity
We are looking for Load Controllers to join our team at Perth Airport, responsible for performing all load control and flight functions on a shift by shift, flight by flight basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Effective planning and preparation of all system and manual weight & balance documentation
- Liaising with customer airline staff to ensure adherence to policy and procedure
- Ensuring the accuracy of passenger figures, baggage/cargo weight
- Preparation and issuance of loading instruction reports to ground handling staff
- Providing flight operations and airline crew the information required to enable maximum fuel uplift and trim fuel transfer within ground time
- Monitoring flight changes and adjusting Departure Control System documentation
Essential Requirements
- Motivated and capable of committing to rostered shifts spanning 24 hours / 7 days a week
- High level computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and Word
- Dangerous Goods Awareness Training
- Minimum of 3 years' ground handling experience
- Knowledge of aviation legislation, including flight planning, weather, NOTAM and Load Control legislation
