The Role
We are seeking experienced Aviation Ramp Agents to join our Perth Airport team on a casual basis. This role is responsible for delivering safe, efficient and professional ground handling services for a range of private, corporate, VIP, government and charter aircraft operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet and greet arriving and departing passengers and crew
- Coordinate aircraft arrival and departure activities
- Conduct aircraft marshalling, towing and pushback operations
- Load and unload passenger baggage and cargo
- Operate ground support equipment safely and efficiently
- Perform aircraft chocking, coning and wing-walking duties
- Provide potable water, lavatory and GPU services
- Conduct ramp inspections and foreign object debris (FOD) control
- Maintain high standards of safety, security and presentation across the ramp, hangar and FBO facilities
- Complete operational documentation accurately and on time
Essential Requirements
- Minimum three years’ aviation ramp or private ground handling experience
- Current and valid Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC)
- Current Australian driver’s licence
- Valid Australian working rights with the ability to work unrestricted hours (sponsorship not available)
- Strong knowledge of ramp safety procedures and airside operations
- Ability to perform physically demanding duties
- Availability to work flexible shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
Highly Regarded
- Current Airside Driving Authority (ADA) for Perth Airport
- Aeronautical Radio Operator Certificate (AROC) and Dangerous Goods Certificate
- Experience handling business jets, private aircraft or VIP aviation operations
- Experience within fixed-base operations (FBO) or corporate aviation environments
