About the Role
Aviation Components is an Australia-wide aviation service company seeking a Perth-based Aviation Refueller to join our team. The role involves completing aviation refuelling duties at Paraburdoo Airport (Pilbara) on a FIFO roster (2 weeks on, 2 weeks off). Key Components of the Role
- Perth or surrounding area based
- Manage all facets of an airport refuelling operation, including paperwork, reporting and safety meetings
- Refuelling of aircraft using equipment provided
- Carry out daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly fuel quality testing and equipment checks
- Actively manage fuel inventory levels
- Receipt and dispatch road tanker deliveries
- Maintenance and upkeep of site and fuel yard
- Data entry of fuel dockets and operational records
- Preparation and submission of daily, weekly and monthly reports
- Regular use of email and electronic reporting systems
About You
- A background in aviation or fuel operations (not mandatory — full training provided)
- Highly self-motivated and able to work unsupervised
- Safety focused with a high level of attention to detail
- Reliable, organised and hardworking
- Comfortable working in a remote FIFO environment
- Competent using computers and Microsoft Office programs
Essential Requirements
- Heavy Rigid (HR) driver’s licence
- Ability to obtain and maintain an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC)
- Ability to work a FIFO roster of 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off
- Ability to work outside standard business hours when operationally required
- Strong commitment to safety and compliance

This is a manual labour role requiring a reasonable level of fitness. A pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol test and Federal Police Check (as part of the ASIC application) are required.
