About the Role
As Flight Operations Coordinator, you'll sit at the centre of a busy flight training operation, coordinating aircraft, instructors, students, flight examiners, maintenance activities, ground theory schedules and regulatory requirements. This role suits someone who wants a long-term career in aviation operations rather than a flying career.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily aircraft, instructor and student schedules; manage cancellations and disruptions
- Maintain student flight bookings and training progression plans
- Support students throughout their training journey, including leave and medical documentation
- Coordinate flight tests with internal and external Flight Examiners, including bookings and travel
- Build strong relationships with students, instructors and examiners; provide excellent customer service
- Support compliance with CASA requirements and company procedures
Essential Requirements
- Strong scheduling, administration or operational coordination experience
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
Desirable
- Aviation industry or flight training organisation experience
- Experience with complex rostering or scheduling systems
- Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL)
