The Opportunity
Operations Manager (Aviation) to work closely with the General Manager - Aviation, leading day-to-day aviation operations at Western Sydney International Airport. Predominantly Monday to Friday with flexibility for early starts, late finishes and weekend coverage. Interstate applicants welcome.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily operational planning and rostering
- Support frontline teams and supervisors
- Monitor performance, compliance and service standards
- Manage incidents, escalations and operational issues
- Coordinate resources, priorities and stakeholder communication
- Support reporting, documentation and continuous improvement
Essential Requirements
- Experience in operations management, ideally aviation, transport or security
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Sound knowledge of safety, compliance and operational procedures
- Strong incident management and decision-making skills
- Eligibility for aviation and security clearances and site-specific screening
- Current driver's licence or transport access
