About the Role
SSP Australia is seeking an experienced Food & Beverage Manager to join its multi-venue operations at Gold Coast Airport, reporting to the Assistant General Manager. You'll lead a team of 100+ baristas, bar attendants and F&B attendants across six bars, cafes and restaurants, including Wollumbin Bar & Restaurant, Paradox Bar & Restaurant, Merlo Coffee, The Sand Bar, Social Espresso and Beach Shack.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the FOH team through ongoing leadership and clear direction
- Provide leadership and development to Duty Managers, including clear development plans reviewed regularly with the GM/AGM
- Provide regular performance reviews and feedback to staff
- Manage financial outputs across the group of restaurants, including cost of goods, stock takes, cost of employment and sales versus budget
- Maintain client relationships with partners and airport authorities
- Drive, monitor and respond to audits, delivering full compliance and risk management
Essential Requirements
- 2+ years' experience in a similar role (preferable)
- Experience in hospitality and multi-site management
- Strong leadership skills and shift management experience
- Experience managing high-turnover operations, rosters and stock control
Desirable
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in a business-related discipline
