About the Role
This role is responsible for providing customer focused support for QAL employees and customers across the technology used at QAL. These tools are both customer facing (laptops, PCs, phones) but also internal (servers, network etc.) and are integral to the operation of QAL. The role is responsible for maintaining, supporting, monitoring and identifying and rectifying issues related to this wide array of products and infrastructure, and providing excellent customer service in delivering this service.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide application maintenance and support services, either directly to users of the systems or to service delivery functions
- Investigate and resolve issues that may include performance monitoring, asset rebuilds, and other technical work required to resolve technology issues
- Provide advice or training to users, by devising corrections (permanent or temporary) for faults, making general or site-specific modifications, updating documentation, manipulating data, or defining enhancements
- Demonstrate a willingness to go the extra mile and have a can-do attitude to solve problems and support users
Essential Requirements
- Basic entry-level IT skills, a friendly and approachable attitude, and a strong customer service focus
- Recent graduates welcome; 1-2 years of experience an advantage but not essential
- Knowledge and experience in support for Microsoft Office365, Cisco network infrastructure and Cloud services highly regarded
- Ability to adhere to QAL's Drug and Alcohol Management Plan (DAMP), including pre-employment Drug and Alcohol Testing
- Ability to obtain an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC)
