About the Role
QAL is seeking an experienced Media & Communications Manager to join the Strategic Communications team on a 12-month parental leave contract, protecting and enhancing the reputation of Australia's largest regional airport operator.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead development and delivery of integrated communication strategies
- Manage media relations, internal communications, content development and social media
- Support stakeholder engagement, community updates, partnerships and events
- Support crisis and issues management with timely, professional communication advice
- Provide guidance to the Media & Communications Coordinator
Essential Requirements
- Strong writing skills and communications experience; aviation, tourism or infrastructure experience highly regarded
- Ability to obtain an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC) and complete a Police Check
- Compliance with QAL's Drug and Alcohol Management Plan
