LifeFlight Australia is a leading aeromedical organisation dedicated to saving lives through rapid response medical services, operating a fleet of helicopters and fixed-wing aircraft to deliver critical care and emergency retrievals across Queensland and beyond.
The Opportunity
Based at the Toowoomba Aeromedical Base (Clive Berghofer LifeFlight Centre), the Community Engagement Coordinator connects LifeFlight with the Toowoomba and wider regional community, coordinating fundraising, events, presentations and community engagement initiatives. This is a 12-month fixed-term, full-time position providing parental leave cover.
Key Responsibilities
- Build positive relationships with individuals, businesses, community organisations and volunteers
- Coordinate fundraising and community activities, including events and presentations
- Lead the regional volunteer network, ensuring volunteers are well supported and engaged
- Work with internal teams and external partners to strengthen LifeFlight's presence across the region
Essential Requirements
- At least 2 years' experience coordinating fundraising events, engagement activities or similar
- Strong communication, relationship-building and networking skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and CRM systems (Salesforce experience highly regarded)
- Current Queensland driver's licence; flexibility to travel and work occasional evenings/weekends
