About the Opportunity
Menzies Aviation is excited to be establishing operations at Western Sydney International Airport (WSI), one of Australia's newest and most significant aviation developments. This is a unique opportunity to join a brand-new airport operation from the ground up, helping establish a safe, efficient and high-performing ramp operation from day one. Start date 12 October 2026.
Current Opportunities
- Ramp Services Agent – support aircraft turnarounds through the safe and efficient handling of baggage, cargo and mail, operation of Ground Support Equipment and a range of ramp activities
- Leading Hand – provide hands-on operational support while leading and coordinating team members to deliver safe, efficient and timely ramp operations
- Ramp Supervisor – lead the ramp operation and team to ensure aircraft turnarounds are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with customer and operational requirements
All positions are Permanent Part Time (minimum average of 24 hours per week), permanently rostered to night and early morning shifts across a 7-day rotational roster, including weekends and public holidays, generally within a span of approximately 6:00 PM to 1:00 AM.
Essential Requirements
- Previous ramp, aviation or relevant operational experience
- A strong understanding of airside safety and operational procedures
- The physical capability to perform manual handling duties, including lifting up to 32kg where required
- Comfort working outdoors and in all weather conditions
- A current NSW driver's licence
- Fluency in spoken and written English
- Unrestricted working rights in Australia without employer sponsorship
- Willingness to complete all required aviation security, background and pre-employment checks
- Role-specific requirements may apply, including relevant leadership and aviation experience for Leading Hand and Supervisor positions
