About the Role
Based at Sydney International Airport, this is a specialist role within dnata's Passenger Services Department, combining Load Controller and Centralised Load Control (CLC) Coordinator functions.
Load Controller
Calculates aircraft weight and balance, ensuring limitations are observed for safe operation, completing Load Instruction/Reports in line with dangerous goods segregation and preparing Load sheets for the Pilot.
CLC Coordinator
Coordinates with client carriers' load controllers at their centralised operations centre, working closely with them throughout the flight to provide dead load statements, NOTOC and fuel figures, and reviewing load documentation.
Selection Criteria
- Proven ability to work under pressure while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work harmoniously both within a team and independently
- High level knowledge of at least one DCS system
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Competency in a Weight and Balance course
- Previous load control experience highly regarded but not essential
