The Opportunity
Boeing Defence Australia (BDA) is seeking a Flightline Maintenance Co-Ordinator to join its MRO Services Capability, supporting the Helicopter Aircrew Training System (HATS) program at Swartz Barracks, Oakey, coordinating EC135 pre and post flight activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor the HATS flying program and allocate aircraft to sorties, ensuring aircraft are correctly prepared and equipped
- Coordinate aircraft replenishment and maintenance in support of the flying program
- Coordinate transfer of flying aircraft back to maintenance at completion of daily flying
- Dispatch aircraft post maintenance release and provide technical assistance to aircrew
- Manage aircraft Rate of Effort (ROE) to ensure aircraft meet maintenance plans
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience in maintenance coordination or similar role; aviation experience an advantage
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a high-tempo operating environment
- Australian citizen, able to undergo Negative Vetting 1 security clearance
