The Opportunity
B2 Aircraft Maintenance Engineer supporting the Australian UH-60M Black Hawk sustainment program, based at Holsworthy, NSW. Ensures aircraft airworthiness in accordance with prescribed aviation standards and supports Maintenance Managers with task coordination, personnel management and supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake maintenance and certification within scope of authorisation
- Provide tactical-level task coordination and personnel supervision for maintenance tasks
- Support component-level troubleshooting and avionics systems work
- Maintain platform-specific safety familiarisation and DASR 145 compliance
Essential Requirements
- Certificate IV or higher in Aeroskills – Avionics
- Experience with component-level troubleshooting and avionics systems
- Strong awareness of Human Factors, WH&S and DASR 145 requirements
- Ability to work a rotating roster
- Eligible to obtain and maintain an Australian Defence Security Clearance
