The Opportunity
Leonardo Australia is seeking a Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (LAME) B1.3/B2 to join the team at Essendon Fields, conducting maintenance on aircraft, aircraft components and general support equipment as directed by the Senior Base Engineer.
Key Responsibilities
- Exercise abilities and licence coverage in accordance with the CAR30 Procedures Manual and/or Part145 MOE
- Act as Job Coordinator during maintenance activities and issue of Maintenance Releases
- Practice individual quality control at all times
- Assist in upkeep of Hangar and Ground Support Equipment
- Impart on-the-job training to AMEs and apprentices
- Travel domestically and internationally to support product lines and OEM training
Essential Requirements
- Valid CASA Part 66 licence (AW109, AW139, AW169 desirable)
- Certificate IV in Aeroskills (Mechanical and/or Avionics) or higher
- Ability to hold a valid ASIC card and current Human Factors training
- Current or attainable Police Background Check
- Sound engineering background with proven ability to conduct scheduled maintenance
