About the Role

Bell Textron Australia is seeking experienced B1.3 Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (LAMEs) to join its helicopter maintenance teams in Coffs Harbour (NSW) and Redcliffe (QLD). This is a hands-on role working across a diverse fleet of rotary-wing aircraft in a compliant and safety-focused environment, offered as permanent full-time with a 4-day work week (Monday-Thursday).

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform aircraft maintenance in accordance with CASA regulations, company procedures, and OEM manuals
  • Ensure maintenance is completed to a high standard within required timeframes
  • Supervise and support AMEs, including documentation review
  • Support quality, safety, and compliance initiatives
  • Maintain strong customer relationships
  • Promote safe work practices
  • Travel as required

Essential Requirements

  • CASA B1.3 Licence (or B1/C equivalent)
  • Certificate IV in Aeroskills (Mechanical) – MEA40715 or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years helicopter maintenance experience
  • Experience on Bell, Airbus, or Leonardo helicopters
  • Strong CASA regulatory knowledge
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Computer literacy in maintenance systems
  • Ability to meet DAMP requirements
  • National Police Check
  • Full Australian working rights

Desirable Experience

  • Type ratings: Bell 412, Bell 212, Bell 429, AW139, AS355, EC135/H145
  • Experience with PT6 and T53 engines
