About the Role
Bell Textron Australia is seeking experienced B1.3 Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (LAMEs) to join its helicopter maintenance teams in Coffs Harbour (NSW) and Redcliffe (QLD). This is a hands-on role working across a diverse fleet of rotary-wing aircraft in a compliant and safety-focused environment, offered as permanent full-time with a 4-day work week (Monday-Thursday).
Key Responsibilities
- Perform aircraft maintenance in accordance with CASA regulations, company procedures, and OEM manuals
- Ensure maintenance is completed to a high standard within required timeframes
- Supervise and support AMEs, including documentation review
- Support quality, safety, and compliance initiatives
- Maintain strong customer relationships
- Promote safe work practices
- Travel as required
Essential Requirements
- CASA B1.3 Licence (or B1/C equivalent)
- Certificate IV in Aeroskills (Mechanical) – MEA40715 or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years helicopter maintenance experience
- Experience on Bell, Airbus, or Leonardo helicopters
- Strong CASA regulatory knowledge
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Computer literacy in maintenance systems
- Ability to meet DAMP requirements
- National Police Check
- Full Australian working rights
Desirable Experience
- Type ratings: Bell 412, Bell 212, Bell 429, AW139, AS355, EC135/H145
- Experience with PT6 and T53 engines
