About the Role
We're looking for skilled, driven individuals to join the CH-47F (Chinook) Maintenance and Logistics Support Program located at the Army Aviation Centre Oakey, Queensland, with the Republic of Singapore Air Force. As an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME), you'll be hands-on with maintenance, modifications, servicing, inspections, testing and fault-finding on aircraft systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborating with the MRO team to ensure efficient task completion
- Ensuring compliance within the DASR Part 145 Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE) regulations
- Fostering effective communication and coordination with Boeing, customers, and industry teams
- Ensuring Quality Assurance (QA) procedures, aircraft maintenance/modification operating procedures, and meticulous documentation practices
- Embracing a positive attitude towards Environmental Health & Safety, prioritizing the well-being of all personnel
Essential Requirements
- Certificate IV in Aeroskills (Mechanical)
- Must be an Australian Citizen to meet Defence security requirements
- Hold a current driver's licence
Desirable
- Previous experience working with Military aircraft
- Hold a CASA or DASA Maintenance Licence
This role may require travel and periods working away from home.
