The Opportunity
Join Cathay Pacific as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer in this permanent, full-time role based in Brisbane. You will perform maintenance on Cathay Pacific and third-party aircraft in accordance with company procedures and regulatory standards, contributing to the operational reliability, security and presentation of the fleet.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform aircraft maintenance on a shift basis for Cathay Group and third-party aircraft under supervision of a Licensed AME or Assistant Engineering Manager
- Monitor the performance of third-party service providers including technical, ramp, de-icing and refuelling services
- Service and maintain station ground equipment, vehicles, systems and facilities
- Support contingency plans and ad hoc operational requirements including diversions, charters and major disruption recovery
- Deliver a high standard of customer service
Essential Requirements
- Certificate IV or Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering
- Experience on wide-body aircraft including B787, B777, A350, A330, A380 and B747-8F
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Proven ability to work independently and make sound decisions with limited information
