The Opportunity
RFDS Brisbane Base is seeking a permanent, full-time B1 Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, supporting the 24/7 RFDS Queensland operation through scheduled maintenance and AOG defect rectification.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct scheduled Base and Line maintenance checks with minimal impact to aircraft network availability
- Troubleshoot and rectify line maintenance defects during daily flight operations
- Coordinate maintenance activities and participate in the base on-call roster
- Inspect and rectify Ground Support Equipment (GSE) as delegated
Essential Requirements
- CASA B1.1 Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer qualification
- Proven experience on turboprop engines, ideally RFDS Queensland aircraft types
- Beechcraft 300 Series type rating
- Valid unrestricted Australian driver's licence and ability to obtain an ASIC
