About the Role
The BAE Systems Hawk Lead-In-Fighter program is hiring qualified Aircraft Maintenance Engineers across Avionics and Armament trades to support ongoing sustainment and capability growth at Williamtown, NSW. You'll report to a Team Leader and perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance in accordance with authorised technical data and regulatory standards.
Trade Responsibilities
- Mechanical: hydraulic, environmental, pneumatic and propulsion systems, related components and propellers
- Avionics: fault diagnosis and maintenance of avionics systems, electrical and integrated aircraft systems, compliance with technical publications
- Armament: maintain emergency escape and egress systems and aircraft weapon systems; load and handle aircraft stores
Essential Requirements
- Certificate IV in Aeroskills trade or equivalent
- Australian Citizenship
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Defence Security Clearance and ITAR
- Strong attention to detail and compliance mindset
