About the Role
Aviation Australia is seeking a highly organised, customer-focused and proactive Site Support Officer to join its Townsville team on a full-time or part-time basis. In this role, you will provide front-of-house, administrative and operational support, and your ability to build positive relationships, anticipate needs and manage competing priorities will be key to your success. The role also includes invigilation of student examinations, with full training provided. Reduced hours or some flexibility around start and finish times can be offered for the right candidate.
Essential Requirements
- A recognised qualification in an administrative discipline or equivalent experience
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, with the ability to display a courteous and professional manner at all times
- Ability to manage administrative and financial processes, including invoice and purchase order management, and coordinating travel and accommodation bookings
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications and the ability to become an effective user of new computer systems
- Demonstrated ability to deal with sensitive issues and maintain confidentiality
- Ability to interpret and apply legislation, regulations, policies and procedures
- Preparedness to undertake training as required
Desirable
- Experience in a similar role in an educational setting, along with knowledge of student management systems and online learning platforms
