About the Role

Darwin Airport Group is seeking a commercially driven Marketing Manager - Channels & Strategy to establish and lead a new customer growth capability across its diverse airport precinct portfolio, including parking, hotels, retail, food and beverage, tourism products, and future commercial developments. This newly created role, reporting to the Executive General Manager - Commercial, will drive how marketing investment decisions are made across the business by developing customer insights, CRM strategy, channel optimisation, growth initiatives, and performance measurement frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead customer growth and CRM strategies across the airport precinct
  • Drive customer acquisition, retention, loyalty, and lifetime value initiatives
  • Develop channel strategies across paid, owned, and earned media
  • Identify growth opportunities across multiple business streams
  • Establish marketing performance, attribution, and ROI reporting frameworks
  • Provide commercial insights and business cases to inform investment decisions
  • Lead pricing, promotion, and customer offer optimisation initiatives
  • Build organisational capability in CRM, customer analytics, and marketing effectiveness

Essential Requirements

  • Experience in marketing strategy, CRM, customer analytics, growth, or commercial marketing
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen
  • Proven ability to use data and insights to drive business growth
  • Experience developing business cases and performance reporting
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
  • A practical, test-and-learn approach to innovation and continuous improvement

Desirable

  • Experience in aviation, tourism, hospitality, retail, hotels, or destination-based businesses highly regarded
