About the Role
As a Store Person within Airbus Australia Pacific's Civil Helicopters team, you are the backbone of the Perth warehouse operations, supporting the Oil & Gas Platform (O&G PTF), ensuring every part is managed with precision and in compliance with aviation regulations. Reporting to the Manager of MS&L, your mission is to enable service delivery excellence through rigorous inventory control and logistics management.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform inwards quality inspections to ensure compliance with CASA, EASA and AAP QMS standards
- Oversee international and domestic freight moving between Perth, Europe and customer sites
- Package and prepare outgoing products tailored to destination and transportation method
- Monitor and control Dangerous Goods and consumable materials per Airbus requirements
- Participate in the Quarantine process and maintain documentation following Material Review Board meetings
- Participate in an on-call roster to support Aircraft-On-Ground (AOG) services
Essential Requirements
- Academic qualification in Logistics, Warehousing, Freight/Distribution or equivalent industry experience
- Current Australian Forklift Licence (or ability to attain) and valid driver's licence
- Proven experience in aeronautical logistics and warehousing
- Understanding of aviation regulations (CASA/EASA) and ITAR
- Experience with SAP, MILIS or similar ERP systems advantageous
