About the Role

PHI Aviation is seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Supply Officer to join our high‑performing Supply Chain team in Karratha, supporting one of the most dynamic and safety‑critical areas within the aviation logistics sector. Whether you're beginning your career or bringing experience in supply, logistics, inventory, or warehouse operations, we welcome your application. Reporting to the Supply and Purchasing Manager, you will play a key role in maintaining high levels of inventory accuracy, managing the receipt and dispatch of aircraft components, and ensuring full compliance with all documentation, certification, and regulatory obligations associated with aircraft maintenance and release. This position is offered on a 7 days on/7 days off equal time roster, residential in Karratha, WA.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in the control and administration of the store and supply activities.
  • Conduct Inwards Goods and Acceptance of all inventory (aeronautical and non-aviation), receipt and dispatch of parts, forward or file of release and invoice documentation and record inventory movements in and out of PHI's MSP (Maintenance Software Program) system.
  • Assist in the receipt and dispatch of base role equipment being sent for maintenance.
  • Assist with raising base purchase orders (including non-aviation) directly with vendors as required.
  • Liaise with the procurement team to request, track, and expedite critical parts to support aircraft maintenance schedules.
  • Assist packing, labelling, and shipping of aircraft parts both domestically and internationally, ensuring compliance with Dangerous Goods and Customs regulations.
  • Work closely with the engineering and maintenance team to ensure timely supply of required parts to minimise aircraft downtime.
  • Adhere to company safety, quality assurance and environmental standards at all times.
  • Generate reports on inventory status, stock discrepancies, and supply chain performance when required.

Essential Requirements

  • Sound understanding of procurement, warehousing and logistics.
  • Ability to interpret technical data.
  • Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to anticipate needs, take initiative, and take ownership of tasks without requiring direction.
  • Strong prioritisation of tasks and understanding of risks to ensure effective sequencing of tasks.
  • Demonstrated ability in the utilisation of Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Maintaining proper focus and discipline while conducting safety sensitive duties.
  • Ability to work within a team environment.

Desirable

  • Relevant aircraft and product knowledge.
  • Experience using RAMCO or a similar inventory management system.
  • Forklift Licence.
  • Dangerous Goods Acceptance training.
