About the Company

World View Indo-Pacific is a wholly owned subsidiary of World View Enterprises, An Ondas Company. We strive to be a responsible technology leader in the collection, analysis, and delivery of actionable information gathered by our strategically placed arrays of persistent sensors in the stratosphere. We provide on demand, scheduled, and historical aerial data and analytics from sensors deployed to the stratosphere with persistent coverage and higher resolution.

About the Role

As Program Manager, you will translate operational intent into executable plans, coordinate stakeholders across engineering and operations, and ensure our activities are supported by robust procedures, training, regulatory engagement, and disciplined documentation. You will lead the development and maintenance of operational artefacts (SOPs, manuals, and certification pathways), support airspace access and approvals, coordinate payload integration and validation, and provide structured project support. As we scale, you'll also step into live mission support as a Flight Operator (Control Position) when missions are active.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and continuously improve operational SOPs, manuals, and work instructions; ensure materials are accessible, current, and fit for purpose.
  • Design and coordinate training programs, simulation environments, and certification pathways to enable safe, repeatable operations and onboarding.
  • Lead regulatory and stakeholder engagement with CASA and Airservices Australia (ASA) and other relevant bodies; support submissions, correspondence, and meeting preparation and follow-up.
  • Coordinate airspace access and approvals including COAs/NOTAMs; contribute to airspace strategy and support policy influence activities.
  • Manage payload validation activities, sensor integration planning, and partner coordination to ensure payload readiness and traceable acceptance.
  • Own document control practices, including SharePoint structure, controlled document registers, trackers, and versioning.
  • Provide project support as required, including DISP administration, coordination of inputs, and evidence gathering.

Live Flight Operations (Flight Operator / CP) – When Missions Are Active

  • Monitor real-time telemetry, navigation data, and vehicle health; execute standard operating procedures and checklists during flight.
  • Support Flight Director decision-making with situational awareness and data analysis.
  • Maintain accurate flight logs, pass-downs, and shift handovers; monitor airspace boundaries and support regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Assist with ascent, float, station-keeping, and termination operations; coordinate with recovery teams as directed.
  • Support 24/7 operations including night and weekend shifts (as rostered).

Essential Requirements

  • Experience in program/project management, operations management, or operational readiness roles (preferably in aviation, aerospace, defence, or other regulated environments).
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain SOPs, manuals, work instructions, and controlled documentation with strong version discipline.
  • Demonstrated stakeholder management skills, including coordinating partners and internal teams across engineering, operations, and compliance.
  • Experience supporting regulatory and airspace activities (e.g., CASA/ASA engagement, COAs/NOTAMs, airspace access planning).
  • Ability to coordinate training programs, simulation environments, and competency/certification pathways; strong written communication skills.

Desirable

  • Experience in regulated, security-conscious, defence, aerospace, or advanced technology environments.
  • Familiarity with aviation operations, airspace approvals, and safety management systems.
