The Opportunity
Safety Systems Officer supporting Quality, Safety and Security activities under the Manager Safety & Quality Systems, based at Melbourne Airport.
Key Responsibilities
- Support development and implementation of safety and security policies and manuals
- Assist in developing safety and security bulletins
- Manage internal reports, investigations and corrective actions
- Assist in conducting quality, safety and security audits and inspections
- Monitor regulatory requirements and support managers with resulting changes
- Develop and conduct SMS and Security training for staff
Essential Requirements
- Comprehensive understanding of the aviation industry
- Broad operational knowledge in safety, quality or security functions relating to aviation
- Understanding of CASA requirements and awareness of WHS/TSP regulations
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma with relevant experience
Pay
$80,000–$100,000 per year.
