The Opportunity
Casual Works Safety Officer at Gold Coast Airport, acting as frontline overseer of works and project activities from an aviation safety perspective, with some overnight shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply aerodrome operational policies, procedures and standards
- Contribute to aerodrome compliance activities including wildlife management and airspace protection
- Enforce aerodrome compliance regulations under CASA MOS Part 139 and ICAO Annex 14
- Liaise with air traffic control and works contractors regularly
Essential Requirements
- Current driver's licence
- Ability to hold an ASIC and Aeronautical Radio Operating Certificate
- Experience in emergency, security or safety services, or regulated environments valued
Pay
$38.88 per hour (excl. super).
