The Opportunity
As Senior Safety Advisor, you will support safety standards across Swissport's Brisbane operations, partnering with leaders to foster a strong safety-first culture across hazard identification, risk management and incident support.
Key Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day safety activities including hazard identification and risk management
- Build positive working relationships across operational teams
- Support compliance with relevant legislation, standards and organisational policies
- Provide guidance to leaders and employees on safety, security and environmental matters
- Assist with delivery of safety-related training and inductions
Essential Requirements
- Experience in a workplace safety, WHS or similar advisory role
- Understanding of WHS frameworks, practices and principles
- Experience supporting incident investigations, risk management and safety reporting
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Desirable
- Experience in aviation, ground operations, transport or logistics
- Working knowledge of Australian aviation regulations and airport/airline operational procedures
