About the Role
Based at the head office in Oxley QLD, this full-time role is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic drone professional to take ownership of commercial RPAS operations and RePL training delivery, while contributing to R&D for drone use in emergency response. A flexible arrangement is available for the right applicant.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct commercial RPAS operations including aerial work, flight planning, spatial data capture, reporting, and daily flight task management
- Deliver RePL training in compliance with company procedures and CASA standards
- Deliver aviation units of competency under the Australian Qualifications (ASQA) training framework
- Assist in developing learning resources and training materials
- Perform administrative duties to support RPAS operations
- Travel locally and interstate for aerial work or training delivery as required
Essential Requirements
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or equivalent
- Experience as an instructor
- CASA RePL (sub-25kg)
- Background in the RPAS or aviation industry
- General computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Current Australian driver's licence
- Australian Citizen
Desirable
- Minimum 20 hours in commercial RPA operations
- Experience operating DJI systems and payloads
- Familiarity with CASA RPAS regulations
- PMI or Flight Instructor Rating
- Ability to obtain a Police or Security clearance
