The Role
We are seeking professional drone operators to join our growing team on a full-time basis, operating in remote and regional areas throughout Australia. The anticipated roster is 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off, working on average 165 hours per month, with flexibility required around project workloads.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Liaise with Project Manager(s) for the scheduling and delivery of specific projects
- Manage field operations for each project to ensure projects are delivered safely and on time
- Ensure management system processes are followed throughout each project
- Maintain all relevant documentation as directed by the Project Manager (e.g. SWMSs, QC checks, AVCRM flight authorisation, metadata statements)
- Prioritise safety as a core value, consistently demonstrating a commitment to safety
- Comply with company, HSEQ and HR policies and procedures
- Promote the company's core values in everyday activities
Required Qualifications
- Remote Pilot Licence (RePL)
- Current driver's licence
Skills & Experience
- Strong knowledge of airspace regulations
- Drone flight planning and navigation
- Minimum of 4 years' full-time, professional drone operational experience
- Demonstrated experience with DJI drone platforms and flight planning tools — particularly Drone Harmony — highly regarded
- Training will be provided for the right candidate
