About the Role
A private operator in North-West Queensland is seeking a motivated and professional pilot to join a well-established private turbine operation. This is a unique opportunity to operate a modern, well-equipped turbine aircraft in a genuine real-world IFR environment throughout regional and remote Australia.
- Flying a late-model Cessna 208B EX Caravan
- Private Part 91 operations
- Approx. 250 hours air-switch per annum
- Mix of IFR and VFR operations
- Regional and remote Queensland flying
- Single-pilot turbine experience
- Well-maintained aircraft with modern avionics
- Flexible lifestyle role
- Generally busiest throughout the dry season (~9 months of consistent flying activity, quieter 3-month wet season)

- 2022 Cessna 208B EX Caravan
- Garmin G1000 NXi avionics
- Executive interior fit-out
- Cargo pod
- STOL modifications
The Operation
- Operations throughout regional Queensland including remote station strip and regional airport environments
- Regular operations into busy Class C controlled airports
- Would suit someone who enjoys practical flying, autonomy, and varied operations
Suitable Applicants Will Ideally Have
- CASA CPL(A) preferred; experienced PPL(A) holders may also be considered
- Current Single-Engine IFR Instrument Rating preferred, or PIFR
- Current Class 1 or Class 2 Medical
- Turbine and/or Caravan experience preferred (Caravan rating can be arranged for the right candidate)
- Strong decision-making and professionalism
- Ability to operate independently in remote environments
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Salary negotiable dependent on experience
