Queensland Government Air (QGAir) forms part of the Queensland Police Service (QPS), Aviation Capability Group (ACG), providing government aviation services specialising in both rotary and fixed wing operations in support of the QPS and partner agencies in regular and emergency response operations across Queensland.
The Role

Operating a modern fleet of Beechcraft King Air B360 and Caravan aircraft, you'll play a key role in providing critical aviation support to partner agencies through emergency response, lifesaving missions and essential frontline operations. Multiple permanent positions available.

Mandatory Requirements
- Current Australian Commercial Pilot's Licence (CPL)
- Multi-Engine Command Instrument Rating
- Instrument Rating Multi-Engine Aeroplane (MEA)
- At least two Instrument Proficiency Checks (IPCs)
- Minimum 1,500 hours total flying time
- Minimum 1,000 hours Pilot in Command (PIC)
- Minimum 50 hours night flying
- Recent Fixed Wing Single-Pilot experience (within 2 years)
- Hold or be eligible to hold an ASIC
- Current Class 1 Aviation Medical
- Current Passport
Highly Desirable Requirements
- Current Australian Air Transport Pilot's Licence (ATPL)
- 500 hours multi-engine PIC
- 100 hours turbine experience
- Experience flying King Air aircraft
- Experience operating in remote and regional areas
- B360 Type Rating
- C208 (or similar) experience
