With established regional bases and a strong commitment to operational excellence, Nexus continues to strengthen connectivity across Western Australia and is expanding its footprint with a new operational base in Brisbane, extending its reach and enhancing access across northern Australia.
Nexus Airlines is seeking highly skilled and experienced Captains and First Officers to join our team based in Brisbane.
Key Duties and responsibilities of the role include
In addition to flying duties, pilots are expected to assist with the following duties:
Assisting the operations team as required
Supporting other pilots with pre- and post-flight duties

In addition to meeting the minimum experience qualifications, you will need to demonstrate that you have enthusiasm, energy, a high level of personal presentation, and have excellent people and communication skills. You will also have a positive attitude with the ability to be solution focused in challenging situations. The minimum experience and qualifications are as follows:
Captains:
CASA ATPL(A)
Class 1 medical
English language proficiency – Level 6
3000 hours total flying
2500 hours pilot in command
500 hours multi engine command
100 hours in command DHC8 or similar (Desirable)
First Officers:
CASA CPL(A)
Class 1 medical
English language proficiency – Level 6
1500 hours total flying
1300 hours in command
100 hours multi engine command
MCC Certificate or ATPL Human Factors exam credit
100 hours DHC8 or similar (Desirable)
