About the Role
We have an opportunity for a Line Pilot – Fixed Wing to be part of our State Operations & Emergency Management team. The Fixed Wing Line Pilot is responsible for flying single pilot fixed wing aircraft under Instrument Flight Rules (IFR) in a safe and professional manner to support all operations of the Aviation Command and NSW Police Force objectives.
A NSW Fixed Wing Pilot is required to operate across the state of NSW in a high-risk team environment, responding to law enforcement, Counter Terrorism and Search & Rescue missions. This position provides the most varied, exciting and disciplined type of flying within NSW.

Essential Requirements
- Valid Class 1 Medical
- Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) for fixed wing aircraft with appropriate ratings and endorsements to act as pilot in command
- Low Level Rating
- C208 Rating
- 2,000 hours PIC fixed wing
- 500 hours experience in turbine-powered aircraft
- 200 hours PIC night experience
- Low level experience in fixed wing
- Reside within 100km from the Aviation Command, Bankstown
