The Role
Join our dynamic team of QGAir pilots, where we pride ourselves on delivering safe, timely and responsive frontline aviation services. We’re looking for a skilled pilot based in Mount Isa with a passion for flying who is eager to contribute to providing world-class frontline aviation services in community safety.
Our modern fleet includes brand-new Beechcraft King Air B360 turboprops and caravan aircraft. As a member of our flight operations team, you will be responsible for contributing to the safe and efficient operation of our fleet by providing essential, lifesaving and emergency aviation support to our partner agencies. What We’re Looking For
Mandatory Requirements:
Hold a current Australian Commercial Pilots Licence (CPL)
Multi Engine Command Instrument Rating
Instrument Rating Multi Engine Aeroplane (MEA)
At least two Instrument Proficiency Checks (IPC’s)
Minimum 1500 hours total flying time
Minimum 1000 hours Pilot in Command (PIC)
Minimum 50 hours night flying
Recent Fixed Wing Single-Pilot Experience (within 2 years)
Hold or be eligible to hold an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC)
Current Class 1 Aviation Medical
Hold a current Passport
Highly Desirable Requirements
Hold a current Australian Air Transport Pilots Licence (ATPL)
500 hours multi-engine PIC
100 hours turbine experience
Experience flying King Air aircraft
Experience operating in remote and regional areas
B360 Type Rating
C208 (or similar) Experience
A probation period of 6-months applies to this position.
