About the Role
A CAR30 approved Maintenance Organisation based on the Gold Coast, QLD, is seeking to recruit an experienced Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical) to join the team in a full-time position working Monday to Friday. There will be some field work requirements, so the ability to travel on short notice is needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Disassembly, inspecting, testing, repairing and reassembling aircraft engines, engine accessories, electrical systems, airframe components and assemblies
- Installing and testing aircraft electrical, avionics and communications equipment using specialist equipment
- Replacing and testing aircraft oxygen systems
- Maintaining records of aircraft maintenance activities
- Adoption of company quality and safety management systems, adhering to company and regulatory procedures to ensure all work is performed to a high safety standard at all times
Essential Requirements
- LAME qualified in either B1.2, B1.3 or B1.4
- Be able to pass a pre-employment drug test
- Ability to complete Human Factors training
- Ability to work under minimal supervision as well as part of a wider team
