About the Role

Nautilus Aviation is looking for the right person to join the Port Douglas team — a true all-rounder role combining reservations, customer service, and ground crew duties. Heli Crew are the face of the operation, helping create incredible experiences for guests while keeping operations running smoothly and safely.

Key Responsibilities

• Delivering a warm, professional and memorable experience to every guest
• Handling reservations, sales enquiries, and bookings (phone, email, and walk-ins)
• Preparing itineraries for individual and group bookings
• Processing payments and managing booking systems
• Coordinating daily operations to maximise efficiency (including transfers and flight schedules)
• Leading check-ins and conducting safety briefings
• Assisting with ground operations, including loading and unloading passengers
• Supporting offsite events and promotional activities
• Adhering to all safety procedures and CASA regulations

Essential Requirements

• Minimum 1–2 years' experience in a customer service role
• Strong computer skills (experience with Take Flight or similar systems is an advantage)
• Excellent communication and administrative skills
• Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy items as part of day-to-day ground operations
• Ability to work weekends and public holidays
• Current Australian Driver's Licence
• Ability to obtain an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC)
