About the Role
This full-time position supports Pilatus Training Solutions (PTS) Aeronautical Life Support Equipment (ALSE) under Jet Aviation's defence contracts at RAAF Base East Sale, Victoria. You'll work in a fast-paced, inclusive team environment with a competitive remuneration package including overtime and military bonus.
Annual Salary: AUD$109,327 + Super + Overtime + Military Bonus. Relocation assistance available to the selected candidate if applicable.
Key Responsibilities
- Pre-flight, post-flight and bay servicing of aircrew life support equipment
- Bay servicing of aircraft personal survival packs
- Kitting and fitting out of aircrew with personal life support equipment
- Maintenance of 'wet-drill' training equipment
- Management of ALSE and associated explosive ordnance
- Configuration management of ALSE within PTS Maintenance Management System
- Provide ALSE service at deployed locations as identified within the Daily Flying program
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with PTS stakeholders including Lockheed Martin Australia, Pilatus, and the ADF
- Foster a 'Safety First' culture within the Jet Aviation maintenance team
- Support continual improvement processes including LEAN methodologies
Essential Requirements
- Certificate III in Aeronautical Life Support and Furnishings or equivalent qualification
- Demonstrated understanding of aviation regulatory requirements for aircraft maintenance, civil and military (Part 145)
- Maintenance management experience
- Current legal right to work in Australia and ability to obtain an ADF security clearance
- Computer literate in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Experience in a customer-focused work environment managing multiple priorities and project deadlines
