About the Role
BDA is seeking Aircraft Life Support Equipment Maintenance Technicians to join the AH-64 Apache sustainment and support team, tasked with repair and modification of the AH-64 Apache ALSE suite. Roles are expected to commence July 2026 and September 2026, based in Townsville with 16 ASB.
Key Responsibilities
- Competent in all aircraft life support processes including maintenance, modification and planning documentation
- Repair and modification of the AH-64 Apache ALSE suite
- Work within a dynamic team and respond effectively to changing requirements
Essential Requirements
- Cert IV in Aeronautical Life Support Equipment (or equivalent)
- Minimum 5 years military or commercial aircraft maintenance experience
- Apache Aircraft Familiarisation (CoA provided)
- Australian Citizen
Desirable
- Soundproofing, soft furnishings, and aircraft flooring maintenance/manufacture
- Explosive ordnance experience
- Experience with ADF products on larger aircraft or rotary wing platforms
