Flight Training Adelaide (FTA) is a world-class aviation training provider, operating since 1982. With campuses at Parafield Airport (SA) and Wellcamp Airport (QLD), we offer customised training solutions for fixed- and rotary-wing pilots. Our Wellcamp campus also delivers training for the QANTAS Group Pilot Academy.

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical) to join our Engineering Team in Adelaide or Wellcamp.

You will need to have:

Essential Criteria

  • Hold a CASA B1.2 Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Licence

  • CASA licence in either or both engine and airframe categories

  • General aviation experience including piston engine aircraft

  • Experience on single and multi-engine piston aircraft

  • Ability to work independently and use initiative to problem-solve

  • Valid Driver’s Licence

  • Hold or be able to obtain an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC)

  • Unrestricted Australian work rights

Desirable Criteria

  • Experience with composite aircraft
