About the Role

dnata catering & retail is seeking a Business Analyst to join the retail partner Jetstar team, supporting reporting, analytics and business intelligence across inflight retail operations. This is a full-time position located at the dnata catering & retail facility in Coolangatta; for the right candidate, a Brisbane-based arrangement is possible, with regular travel to Coolangatta 1-2 days per week.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, Jetstar, this role is ideal for a commercially minded analyst with a strong finance background and technical reporting expertise, delivering insights that support business performance, profitability and strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance commercial reporting, dashboards and management reporting to support business performance
• Analyse financial and operational data to identify trends, risks, opportunities and insights that drive informed decision-making
• Support P&L analysis, profitability reporting, forecasting and budgeting processes
• Build and maintain KPI frameworks, reporting standards and governance processes to ensure trusted data outcomes
• Identify opportunities to automate reporting, improve data quality and strengthen analytics capability
• Partner with Finance, Operations and key stakeholders to deliver business analysis, process improvements and reporting solutions that create value

Essential Requirements

• Experience in a Commercial Finance, FP&A or Financial Analyst role is highly preferred
• Experience with P&L reporting, budgeting, forecasting and profitability analysis
• Demonstrated experience in reporting, analytics, business intelligence or business analysis
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with Power BI, SQL or other reporting tools
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to partner with Finance and operational stakeholders to drive commercial outcomes
• Relevant qualifications in Finance, Commerce, Business, Analytics or a related discipline

Desirable

Experience in aviation, retail, food manufacturing or operational environments is advantageous.
