About the Role
As a Senior Safety & Airworthiness Engineer, you'll work across platforms including E-7A Wedgetail, P-8A Poseidon, CH-47 Chinook, F-18 Super Hornet and MQ-28 Ghost Bat, as well as supporting commercial aeroplane operations in Seattle. This role can be undertaken in Adelaide, Brisbane, Williamtown or Sydney.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive regulator-approved certification program plans
- Carry out certification activities under civil (CASA, EASA, FAA) or military (DASA) regulatory frameworks
- Produce safety cases and airworthiness documentation for the platform
- Lead small teams of junior engineers on project-level responsibilities
Essential Requirements
- Experience within a civil or military design organisation (21J or ODA)
- Tertiary degree with airworthiness/certification, system safety or aircraft design experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication across a large group of stakeholders
