We are looking for an Engineering Coordinator to support our Part 145 maintenance operations in Broome. In this role, you will assist the Senior Base Engineer and Head of Maintenance in planning, scheduling, and coordinating aircraft maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with airworthiness standards and operational efficiency.
Key duties and responsibilities of the role include but not limited to:
Plan and schedule short-term & long-term aircraft maintenance activities
Prepare maintenance work packages and ensure required resources are available
Work closely with maintenance, operations, and procurement teams to minimise downtime
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and support audit processes
Monitor maintenance forecasts, working with Maintenance Control, Engineering Staff, and Stores Teams to support planning of inspections, repairs, and modifications
Assist in process improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability
Prepare invoices, facilitate engineering meeting and general office tasks
What We’re Looking For:
🔹 Qualifications in aircraft maintenance planning, aeronautical engineering, or a related field is desirable
🔹 Experience in a coordination role in aviation or a similar industry
🔹 Understanding of maintenance programs, airworthiness requirements, and planning systems is desirable
🔹 Proficiency in maintenance software, ERP systems, and digital documentation platforms is desirable
🔹 Exceptional organisational, problem-solving, and communication skills
