About the Role
We are seeking a B1 Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (LAME) with relevant industry experience to join our base. The base carries out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance to our fleet. Ideally, we are seeking applicants with experience working on our aircraft types or similar.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform aircraft maintenance in accordance with the aircraft's approved maintenance data
- Ensure all parts and materials are airworthy and appropriate for their application
- Report all defects or faults identified during maintenance to the allocated Maintenance Coordinator
- Ensure all certifications are made in accordance with the Aviair approved systems of certification
To Be Successful in This Role
- Minimum 2 years' work experience as a LAME, preferably with a sound knowledge of Civil Aviation Regulations
- Current CASA Part 66 Licence in Category B1 or B2 (PT6 engine type rating or experience preferred but not essential)
- Experience working on aircraft within our fleet or similar
- Ability to work effectively as part of a close-knit team and independently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills across all levels
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening (DAMP)
- Eligibility to obtain an ASIC
