Current CASA B1.2 Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Licence in the relevant category
Work Locations available: Alice Springs and Katherine NT
Aircraft Maintenance and Inspection: Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, and repairs on aircraft in accordance with CASA regulations and manufacturer’s specifications.
Certification of Release to Service: Certify the completion of maintenance and repairs, thereby authorising the aircraft’s return to service.
Fault Diagnosis: Utilise technical expertise and diagnostic equipment to identify mechanical, electrical, and avionics faults.
Compliance Assurance: Ensure all maintenance actions comply with CASA regulations, airworthiness directives (ADs), service bulletins (SBs), and company policies and procedures.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of all maintenance performed, including logbooks, worksheets, and digital systems as required by CASA.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with other engineers, technicians, and operational staff to ensure effective workflow and safety standards are met.
Continuous Improvement: Participate in ongoing training and professional development to remain current with evolving technologies, regulations, and best practices.
Safety Advocacy: Promote a culture of safety by adhering to occupational health and safety procedures, reporting hazards, and implementing safety initiatives.
Technical Support: Provide guidance and mentorship to unlicensed maintenance personnel and apprentices.
Tool and Equipment Management: Ensure proper use, calibration, and maintenance of tools, equipment, and ground support units.
Customer Liaison: Communicate with operators, pilots, and management to explain technical findings, provide maintenance updates, and respond to queries.
