About the Role
As Senior Supply Chain Performance Specialist, you'll help unlock smarter ways of working across Air New Zealand's end-to-end supply chain. You'll partner with teams across the business to simplify complex processes, improve performance, and deliver meaningful change that supports customers, people, and the future. The Supply Chain team plays a critical role in keeping the operation moving, ensuring the right products, parts, and services are in the right place at the right time.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse and map end-to-end supply chain processes to identify opportunities that improve efficiency, reduce cost, and strengthen operational performance
- Partner with business and technical teams to design and implement future state processes that enhance customer outcomes, data quality, and scalable ways of working
- Gather and document business requirements, process maps, workflows, and user stories to support process and system improvements
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and human-centred design principles to deliver measurable business outcomes
- Support major supply chain transformation programmes, including process redesign, system implementations, testing, training, and deployment activities
- Facilitate workshops, build strong stakeholder relationships, and strengthen process ownership and change capability across the supply chain
- Develop standard operating procedures, governance practices, and reusable process assets that enable sustainable performance and continuous improvement
Essential Requirements
- At least 5 to 7 years' experience in business process analysis, continuous improvement, or supply chain operations
- Proven success delivering process improvements across end-to-end supply chain value streams such as Order to Cash, Plan to Deliver, and Procure to Pay
- Experience working with ERP platforms, ideally SAP, and familiarity with digital operational systems
- Strong experience supporting transformation programmes, process redesign, stakeholder engagement, and change delivery
- Excellent process mapping and documentation skills using tools such as Visio, Signavio, or Promapp
- Strong analytical capability with experience using Excel, Power BI, or similar tools to generate business insights
- Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders, facilitate workshops, and collaborate across technical and business teams
- Understanding of supply chain governance, project delivery, and operational best practice; knowledge of the SCOR model would be an advantage
Desirable
- A tertiary qualification in Business, Supply Chain, or a related discipline
- NZPICS CPIM, Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt, or PRINCE2 qualifications
