Air New Zealand

About

Air New Zealand operates as New Zealand's flag carrier, connecting 49 domestic and international destinations with more than 400 daily flights transporting over 16 million passengers annually. The airline maintains a modern fleet averaging 8.7 years in age, positioning itself among operators prioritizing fuel efficiency and contemporary aircraft technology. Moody's assigns the carrier a Baa1 investment-grade credit rating, reflecting operational and financial stability within the Asia-Pacific aviation market.

The airline's technical operations span fleet maintenance, route network planning, regulatory compliance, and loyalty programme management through Airpoints, which serves over four million members. Core operational domains include aviation safety systems, fuel-efficiency initiatives, and passenger service delivery across both short-haul domestic sectors and long-haul international routes. The carrier's technology environment incorporates standard aviation industry platforms alongside data infrastructure including Snowflake, Kafka, and CI/CD tooling for operational systems.

Guided by the Māori principle of Manaaki - exceptional care extended to customers, employees, and communities - Air New Zealand positions itself as the primary aviation link between New Zealand and international markets. The airline's operational scale and fleet modernization reflect ongoing investment in network capacity and technical capability across its domestic trunk routes and transpacific services.

Mission Aviation Fellowship International

For 80 years, Mission Aviation Fellowship (MAF) has been flying light aircraft to reach inaccessible communities cut off by geographical barriers such as jungles, mountains, swamps and deserts, or isolated by conflict. MAF is an international Christian organisation whose purpose is to bring help, hope and healing through aviation to people living in isolation and poverty. Today, MAF serves in 29 countries with around 117 aircraft, enabling more than 1,500 aid and development organisations, missions and local churches to bring medical care, emergency relief, long-term development and Christian hope to thousands of communities. Every 5.6 minutes a MAF aircraft takes off or lands somewhere in the world, transporting people who live in remote villages and assisting missions, churches, aid and development agencies. In 2024 alone, MAF International flew 1,908,247 nautical miles, completed 24,288 flight legs, and carried 72,251 passengers. During World War II Christian servicemen and women from around the world independently had the vision to use aircraft for good, leading to the registration of MAF in London in 1945, with first survey flights of central and east Africa in 1948.

Air Whanganui

Air Whanganui was established in 1987 by local families to meet the needs of Whanganui businesses following the withdrawal of services to Whanganui by the national carrier. The company began its commuter operation with a Piper Mojave flown over from Australia by one of the company’s founding directors. We have three state of the art Beechcraft King Air turboprop aircraft, comprising of two B200’s and one C90 that are elegantly appointed and provisioned for executive and leisure charters. Our aircraft can land at all New Zealand airports serviced by commercial airlines, as well as smaller more remote airfields. Air Whanganui is based in Whanganui which is geographically one of the most centrally located cities in New Zealand. This provides an ideal base from which to service all of New Zealand.
