Training Support Officer – ALSE

About the Role

The Training Support Officer will play a vital role in supporting the ALSE Program Training Manager with development, delivery, coordination and governance of ALSE related training. This role primarily focuses on the development of training material, and provision of administrative, scheduling and document control support to ensure Defence training activities run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain training and assessment materials
• Support document control, versioning and quality standards
• Coordinate training schedules, facilities, equipment and logistics
• Perform TNA with SMEs and stakeholders
• Maintain training records, attendance and LMS content
• Assist with enrolments, participant communication and session preparation, and support SMEs with training delivery
• Compile evaluation data, training metrics and audit evidence
• Support course panels, reviews, validation and moderation activities

Essential Requirements

• Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40122 or higher)
• Ability to obtain an AGSVA NV1 clearance
• Experience in training development and support
• Strong organisation, scheduling and documentation skills
• Proficiency in MS Office
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks

Desirable

• Experience supporting training and education in Defence or technical environments
• Experience with LMS platforms
• Understanding of Defence training compliance frameworks (Adele(P)/LXP)
• Exposure to ALSE, engineering or technical maintenance environments
